LOS ANGELES, July 18 — That didn’t take long!

Taylor Swift has responded to Snapchat footage leaked by Kim Kardashian purportedly showing a phone conversation between her husband Kanye West and Taylor Swift regarding lyrics from his song Famous.

The track from his The Life of Pablo album contains the lines: “I feel like me and Taylor Swift might still have sex/I made that b**** famous.”

They refer to the infamous incident when West interrupted Swift’s acceptance speech at the 2009 MTV VMAs.

West had always claimed that he had asked for Swift’s approval of the lyric before releasing the track, and that she gave her blessing. Swift later denied this.

Last month, Kim reignited the feud in an interview with GQ magazine in which she backed up her husband’s claims.

It’s fair to say most people thought she was just standing by her man — until now.

In the clip shared by Kardashian yesterday, West can be seen rapping the first part of the disputed lyric to Swift over the phone. She thanks him for coming to her in advance and says, “It’s just a really cool thing to do, a really good show of friendship.”

Now, Swift has broken her silence by taking to social media with a statement regarding the leaked footage.

“Where is the video of Kanye telling me that he was going to call me ‘that bitch’ in his song?” she wrote in an Instagram post.

“It doesn’t exist because it never happened. You don’t get to control someone else’s emotional response to being called ‘that b****’ in front of the entire world.”

She then went on to claim that West promised to play her the whole song but never did, and that she wanted to like the song but could not approve it as she hadn’t heard it.

“Being falsely painted as a liar when I was never given the full story or played any part of the song is character assassination. I would very much like to be excluded from this narrative, one that I have never asked to be a part of, since 2009,” she added.
