TEL AVIV, July 13 — It's a new kind of outing for these four-legged pets.
They're heading to the movies for a screening of The Secret Life of Pets hosted by the city of Tel Aviv.
Event organiser Ruth Hayat says: “It is an amazing event, we have 25,000 people in Tel Aviv that have dogs and we decided to do an amazing event just for them. People who have dogs can come here and enjoy a fun evening with their dogs.”
Residents say events like this help make the city a dog-friendly place to live.
Ilya Liz, a dog owner, says: “We were invited to come here and see the movie together with the dog and I think it is really cool because it's so unusual.”
Pooch critics haven't weighed in on the film just yet, but it looks like the event definitely gets two paws up. — Reuters
