LOS ANGELES, May 20 — Netflix’s revival of Gilmore Girls now officially has a title and it will be known as Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life.

Star Lauren Graham made the announcement while on The Ellen DeGeneres Show where she also shared that they were almost done filming.

“I feel so lucky to get to [revisit Gilmore Girls], but it’s also been so bizarre because I open the door and we’re across the street from you, which wasn’t the case before. The set is the same, but we’re in a different place. It’s like it was yesterday, but also it was not yesterday.”

The new show will debut in four 90-minute instalments that take place in winter, spring, summer, and fall.

Gilmore Girls won legions of fans, when it aired from 2000 to 2007, depicting the exploits of a thirty-something Lorelai (Graham) and her teenage daughter (Alexis Bledel). McCarthy played Lorelai’s beloved chef BFF Sookie St James.
