TOKYO, April 12 — Trust Marie Kondo to find another, more direct method of getting her de-cluttering message across.

The organisational guru has just announced her new project: A graphic novelisation of her best-selling debut The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up.

The Life-Changing Manga of Tidying Up tells “the quirky story of a woman who transforms her home, work, and love life using Kondo’s advice and inspiration,” according to publisher Ten Speed Press.

It will centre on Chiaki, a young woman who lives in Tokyo who seeks out Kondo for advice after her neighbour complains about her messy balcony.

“Through a series of entertaining and insightful lessons, Kondo helps Chiaki get her home — and life — in order,” the description adds.

It will feature illustrations by award-winning manga artist Yuko Uramoto.

The Life-Changing Manga of Tidying Up will be released on June 27, 2017.
