KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 27 — Nestle (Malaysia) Bhd’s net profit rose to RM197.51 million for the third quarter (3Q) ended September 30, 2026, compared to RM114.04 million in the same quarter a year ago supported by higher sales.

Revenue also advanced 5.3 per cent to RM1.86 billion during the quarter from RM1.76 billion previously, driven by stronger domestic demand across key product categories, supported by continued innovation and effective commercial execution, the company said in a Bursa Malaysia filing today.

“Demand for the company’s halal made-in-Malaysia products remained consistent across export markets,” it said.

It said the company continued to invest in its core brands through innovation, brand-building and strong marketplace execution, reinforcing their relevance to consumers across multiple consumption occasions during the quarter.

“This included the latest edition of Nestlé’s flagship Gaji Seumur Hidup campaign, which brought together brands across the company’s portfolio and further strengthened engagement with Malaysians,” it said.

For the first nine months ended September 30, 2026, the company’s net profit improved to RM557.64 million from RM387.50 million in the same period last year, while revenue increased to RM5.55 billion from RM5.20 billion, driven by stronger domestic sales.

On prospects, it said the group reaffirms its positive outlook for the full year 2026 and remains focused on sustaining growth through disciplined execution, innovation and meeting evolving consumer needs.

“Ongoing investments in digitalisation, automation and productivity initiatives are expected to enhance operational efficiency and agility.

“Supported by its local manufacturing footprint, extensive distribution network and strong talent base, the group remains well positioned to deliver sustainable long-term growth,” it said.

The board of directors has proposed a second interim dividend of 80 sen per share amounting to RM187.60 million in respect of the year ending Dec 31, 2026 which will be paid on Dec 9, 2026 to shareholders whose names appear on the record of depositors on Nov 11, 2026.
