KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 16 — Affin Bank Bhd has unveiled its new Affin UKM Alumni co-brand credit and debit cards, designed exclusively for the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) community, including its alumni and associate alumni.
Affin Bank president and group chief executive officer Datuk Wan Razly Abdullah said such a collaboration is a testament to Affin Bank’s commitment to reach out to a wider segment of customers, in the hope of making their banking experience more convenient, accessible, and personalised.
“They could benefit from the privileges offered by these co-brand credit and debit cards, as well as our other extensive products and financial solutions which will be made available to them at a competitive rate,” he said in a statement today.
Meanwhile, deputy vice-chancellor student affairs Mohd Suzeren Md Jamil said in conjunction with the upcoming UKM 50th convocation ceremony, these cards were made specifically to honour and show appreciation for the alumni.
“It is introduced to highlight the identity of UKM alumni and to represent their life-long association with their alma mater.
“Through these cards, UKM alumni are eligible to receive various benefits offered by both Affin Bank and the university such as fee reductions for graduate registration, use of sports facilities, UKM library membership, use of research laboratories, and a variety of other privileges,” he said.
In line with the introduction of Affin UKM Alumni co-brand credit and debit cards in the market today, cardholders can also participate in the win a Vespa campaign and stand a chance to win one of three Vespa Primavera 150 motorcycles.
The campaign runs from November 16, 2022 to May 15, 2023.
The Affin UKM Alumni credit card/-i will receive one entry for every approved application, while the Affin UKM Alumni debit card will receive one entry for every five retail transactions to stand a chance to win. — Bernama
