KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 8 — The International Islamic Liquidity Management Corporation (IILM) today announced it has reissued US$1.12 billion (RM5.31 billion) short-term A-1 rated sukuk in three series.
The three series comprise the issuances of US$450 million of one-month tenor at 4.02 per cent, US$370 million of three-month tenor at 4.78 per cent, and US$300 million of six-month tenor at 5.10 per cent.
“Today’s sukuk reissuance is the IILM’s 12th sukuk auction for 2022. The auction garnered significant interest among Islamic primary dealers and investors across the GCC markets as well as Asia, with a strong demand especially on the one- and six-month tenors.
“The competitive tender witnessed a strong total order book in excess of US$1.71 billion, representing an average bid-to-cover ratio of 153 per cent,” it said in a statement today.
Further to today’s reissuance, the IILM has achieved year-to-date cumulative issuances totalling US$12.67 billion through 34 sukuk series. — Bernama
