SINGAPORE, July 14 — The Singapore Exchange (SGX) said trading in its securities market has ceased temporarily at 11.38am but failed to say what was the cause.

“Orders can be put in, taken out or amended during the time when the market is closed. Orders will be matched only when the market reopens. Please check with your brokers for the status of your orders,” SGX said in a brief statement.

The exchange added that further details will be provided in its next update and apologised for any inconvenience caused.
