Genting’s Resorts World Birmingham to open doors on Oct 21

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 7 — Leisure and hospitality group, Genting Malaysia Bhd will open its £150 million (approx. RM960 million) Resorts World Birmingham, United Kingdom’s (UK) first integrated destination leisure complex at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham, on Oct 21, 2015.

In a filing to Bursa Malaysia today, the group said Resorts World Birmingham will play host to the Genting International Casino, which will open to celebrate the launch of the James Bond movie on Oct 26, 2015.

Genting Malaysia is one of the largest casino operators in the UK and a leading innovator in the provision of high-quality customer-focused gaming.

It operates six casinos in London and 35 casinos in the UK provinces. — Bernama
