KUALA LUMPUR, April 29 ― The ringgit opened lower against the US dollar in early session today as traders looked for fresh leads, dealers said.
At 9 am, the local unit was quoted at 3.2675/2695 against the US dollar from yesterday's 3.2640/2660.
A dealer said the ringgit was traded mixed against other major currencies.
The ringgit fell against the Singapore dollar to 2.5994/6014 from 2.5991/5026 on Monday and depreciated against the euro to 4.5271/5309 from 4.5262/4299 yesterday.
Against the British pound, the domestic currency was traded higher at 5.4927/4983 from 5.4976/4019 yesterday and appreciated against the yen to 3.1878/1904 from 3.1912/1941 yesterday. ― Bernama
