KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 20 — The gold futures contracts on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives slipped in early trading today on profit-taking activities, dealers said.   

At 9.30am, February 2014 was three ticks easier at RM139.50 a gramme, and March 2014 fell five ticks to RM139.75 a gramme, while April 2014 shed one tick to RM140.25 a gramme.

Turnover amounted to 24 lots, while open interest totalled 1,589 contracts.

Physical gold was down 51 sen to RM134.77 from RM135.28 a gramme yesterday. — Bernama
