KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 13 — The RHB Banking Group today appointed Datuk Khairussaleh Ramli as Managing Director-cum-Chief Executive Officer of the RHB Bank Bhd and Deputy Group Managing Director of the banking group.
The appointments are effective today.
Khairussaleh was awarded the “Best CFO in Malaysia Award” by the Finance Asia and Alpha Southeast Asia in 2010, 2011 and 2012 for his knowledge and experience in the banking sector, the RHB Bank said in a statement.
RHB Banking Group Managing Director Kellee Kam said the bank is now poised to take on the challenge of realising the group’s ambition to be a leading multinational financial service group in the Asean region.
“Khairussaleh’s vast experience in the local and regional banking sector will enable him to take the RHB Banking Group to its next level of growth.
“His appointment will also further strengthen the leadership capabilities of the senior management team within the group,” Kam added. — Bernama
