KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 12 — Shares on Bursa Malaysia remained lower mid-morning led by losses in selected heavyweights, dealers said.
At 10.42 am, the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) slipped below the 1,800-points level to 1,795.16 after opening at 1,805.07.
On the scoreboard, the Finance Index dipped 60.34 points to 16,677.869, the Plantation Index lost 35.64 points to 8,595.26 while the Industrial Index eased 24.54 points to 3,081.42.
The FBM Emas Index shed 49.24 points to 12,510.29, the FBMT100 Index declined 50.43 points to 12,229.55, the FBM Ace was 11.51 points lower at 5,901.6 and the FBM 70 slipped 12.62 points to 14,288.57.
Among actives, Luster Industries added one sen to 10 sen, Takaso Resources was flat at 25 sen and Nextnat edged up a sen to 10 sen.
As for heavyweights, Maybank dropped one sen to RM9.90, CIMB declined five sen to RM7.55 and Axiata was flat at RM6.84. — Bernama
