MIRI, Sept 6 — The crocodile-hunting team ‘Eric Cat’ has recorded the capture of nine reptiles throughout their four-day operation in Kuala Baram, which kicked off on September 2.
Team spokesman Eric Chong Fook Shin said the last catch was made last night, which was a 14-foot (over 4 metres) crocodile.
“Of the nine crocodiles, five were male while the remaining four were female,” he said in a statement.
Chong said the 14-foot crocodile was the team’s largest catch during their Kuala Baram operation.
He added that the team would take a two-day break before continuing its next operation at Sungai Teru in Baram. — The Borneo Post
