KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 28 — Zetrix AI Group Bhd has denied any involvement or association with the former Human Resources Minister Datuk Seri M. Saravanan following rumours linking the company to the graft charges brought against him today.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the company said it understood that unfounded rumours or speculation linking it to Saravanan may have contributed to the recent trading activity in its shares.

Zetrix AI ended the day’s trading at 59.5 sen, with 1.05 billion shares traded.

“The company wishes to clarify that it is not implicated in, nor associated in any way whatsoever with, Saravanan, in relation to the three charges of graft brought against him on August 28, 2026 at the Sessions Court concerning the approval of foreign worker quotas,” it said.

The group said there was no basis for the rumours or speculation and that it was not aware of any connection between the charges and the business and affairs of the group.

The company added that, apart from the matters involving the rumours, it was not aware of any other possible explanation for the trading activity.

It also confirmed that it complied with Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd’s Main Market Listing Requirements, particularly Paragraph 9.03 on immediate disclosure obligations. — Bernama
