MELAKA, Aug 16 — Prime Minister and Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim today launched Temu Fikrah, a publication produced by the PKR Youth wing (AMK) in conjunction with the PKR National Congress 2026.
The 113-page publication, authored by AMK chief Muhammad Kamil Ahmad Munim and AMK executive committee member Ashraf Ahmad Hadi, outlines the movement’s new thinking on addressing contemporary challenges.
In the foreword, Anwar described the publication as timely, coinciding with the adoption of the Malaysia Madani concept as the intellectual framework and strategic direction for the nation’s administration.
He stressed that the initiative was neither mere technocratic rhetoric nor a seasonal political slogan, but a form of civilisational renewal aimed at re-humanising national development.
“Madani strikes a balance between physical progress and spiritual purity, while anchoring the principles of justice, compassion, sustainability and respect in the country’s governance,” he said.
Anwar also reminded youths, particularly AMK members, that the power entrusted to them today represents a heavy responsibility and a test of piety and moral integrity, rather than an opportunity for complacency or celebration of superficial achievements.
He said rebuilding a nation scarred by past injustices and leakages required extraordinary creativity, intellectual courage and spiritual resilience from the young generation.
Meanwhile, Anwar welcomed Temu Fikrah as a manifestation of intellectual enlightenment, expressing hope that it would not merely be read, but internalised and translated into tangible service to the people at the grassroots level.
He said the publication serves as an AMK cadre-building resource, encouraging members to appreciate the history of the struggle, understand the party’s foundations and ideals, and internalise the meaning of “Reformasi”.
Beginning with the emergence of the Reformasi movement and the formation of PKR, the publication explores the principles of justice, policy frameworks, youth activism, and the values of compassion and humanity.
It is also intended to serve as a guide in shaping knowledgeable and principled members who remain steadfast in upholding the mandate of the party’s struggle. — Bernama
