PUTRAJAYA, Aug 15 — Registration is now open for the National Taxation Seminar 2026 (Budget 2027), which will provide updates on taxation developments and Budget 2027 proposals through two online sessions on October 14 and 21.
In a statement yesterday, the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (LHDN) said the seminar was organised in conjunction with the tabling of Budget 2027, scheduled for October 2026.
The seminar will be held in two sessions, with Session 1 on October 14 (Wednesday) and Session 2 on October 21 (Wednesday), via Zoom.
“The seminar brings together experienced taxation speakers and panellists comprising senior officials from the Ministry of Finance, LHDN, the Chartered Tax Institute of Malaysia and the Malaysian Association of Tax Accountants,” it said.
Key topics include the Budget 2027 proposals, the Special Programme for Voluntary Disclosure on e-Invoicing and Stamp Duty: Identify the Instrument, Determine the Duty Correctly.
LHDN said the seminar would also focus on taxation developments, changes and current issues of importance to taxpayers, tax practitioners, accounting bodies and the professional community.

Employers registered with the Human Resources Development Corporation (HRD Corp) may also claim training costs for SPK 2026 participants, subject to the stipulated conditions.
Registered employers interested in doing so only need to select “Non-Registered Training Provider Details - Government” under the Training Assistance Scheme when applying for the training grant.
