KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 11 — Caretaker Selangor menteri besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari today said that five offers from the Selangor Pakatan Harapan-Barisan Nasional (PH-BN) unity pact will be fulfilled in 100 days if they form the state government.

This is the promise Amirudin made if the unity pact emerges victorious in the state election tomorrow.

“In 100 days, after the victory of the state election in Selangor, the unity state government will fulfill the five things that were stated in the Tawaran Kita Selangor,” Amirudin said in a special address aired live on social media platforms.

Among others, the unity state government will express its gratitude to women in the state with RM1,000 aid channelled to 5,000 women to help them reduce childcare expenditure.

The other four offers that will be fulfilled in 100 days include exemption of assessment rates for village houses, and low-cost houses; 1,000 students in Selangor will receive Kita Selangor book vouchers worth RM200; increment of allowances for imam, bilal and siak; and RM1,000 incentive for 500 farmers, paddy farmers and fishermen through the Kita Selangor agriculture and fishery incentive.

Among the offers that Amirudin had announced last week included offering 200,000 units Kita Selangor Homes at a price of RM250,000 and below complete with three bedrooms and two bathrooms, along with financial assistance through banking institutions.

In the Selangor PH-BN offers, the unity alliance also pledged to reduce traffic congestion in Selangor, particularly on state roads and within local council areas.

These were offers are part of the PH-BN’s Tawaran Kita Selangor: Five Determinations for Five Years.

This will be done by collaborating with Federal agencies and implementing traffic management systems utilised in countries such as South Korea and Singapore and to expand the mini-bus and van network to every district in Selangor through Selangor Mobility to reduce the dependence on cars.

Amirudin will contest for the Sungai Tua seat against Muhammad Hanif Jamaluddin from PN-PAS. In the 2018 general election, Amirudin won with an 11,374 majority.
