KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 6 — Penang PKR candidate Lee Khai Loon fell unconscious earlier today, leading to the cancellation of all scheduled state election campaign programmes for the day.
His team made the announcement on Faceook around 1pm.
“Khai Loon fell unconscious, all programmes will be cancelled today. Sorry,” said the statement posted on Lee’s official Facebook page.
Lee was the Machang Bubok state assemblyman in Penang and is defending the seat this state election.
The cause of the collapse remains undisclosed at this moment, and his administrative team has not released further details regarding his condition.
Lee has served the Machang Bubok constituency for two consecutive terms.
