KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 13 — PKR said state election campaigns for Selangor, Penang, Negri Sembilan, Kedah, Kelantan and Terengganu will formally commence this weekend, as the mandate in these six states expires in less than six months.

Its deputy president Rafizi Ramli said campaign efforts will be held concurrently with the launch of the party's election convention in the aforementioned states on January 14, 15 and 21.

He also said he will personally launch each convention when the time comes.

The convention will be held in Selangor, Penang and Kedah on January 14, followed by Negri Sembilan on January 15 and Kelantan and Terengganu on January 21.

"I have informed the party machinery to continue with their campaign through the PKR and Pakatan Harapan's partisan platforms to avoid misuse of government resources throughout the election.

"I will also be campaigning in the form of nationwide truck touring (as we did before becoming the federal government) beginning February," Rafizi said.

According to the itinerary, Selangor's OKR convention is set to take place at the Ideal Convention Centre in Shah Alam; Penang and Kedah in SP Plaza, Sungai Petani; Negri Sembilan in Palm Mall Hotel, Seremban; Terengganu in Taman Tamadun Islam, Kuala Terengganu and Kelantan in Jabatan Kebudayaan dan Kesenian Negara Kelantan, Kota Bahru.
