KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 24 — Traffic flow towards the Klang Valley from the north started to ease as at 9pm but was still slow from the east coast and the south as people were returning home after the Deepavali holidays.

The Malaysian Highway Authority (LLM) said via its Twitter account that traffic was slow at the Karak intersection leading to the Bentong Toll Plaza up to Lentang in Pahang and from Genting Sempah up to the Gombak Toll Plaza.

From the south towards the Klang Valley, traffic was slow on the North-South Expressway (PLUS) from Tangkak to Ayer Keroh, Simpang Ampat to Pedas Linggi rest stop, Pedas Linggi to the intersection to Port Dickson, Seremban to Nilai and from Kajang to Universiti Putra Malaysia.

It said traffic from the north was smooth but was congested from Kuala Kangsar towards Ipoh.

“Southbound traffic is slow from Simpang Renggam towards Sedenak and from the Kulai rest stop to Kulai in Johor,” it added.
