KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 15 — The early morning drizzle today did not stop Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad from indulging in one of his favourite recreational activities, horse riding at Universiti Putra Malaysia Equine Centre, here.
In fact, with the air quality marginally improved by the rain, Dr Mahathir spent an hour riding, complete with a face mask to protect him against the haze currently blanketing most parts of the country.
“Horseback riding is a kind of therapy for me,” he tweeted in his Twitter account @chedetofficial.

In a two-minute video post on his official Facebook and YouTube accounts, the 94-year-old prime minister is also seen feeding carrots to the horse, and later gives a thumbs-up sign for the camera. — Bernama
