KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 7 ― No stranger to controversy, Barisan Nasional (BN) MP Datuk Bung Mokhtar Radin today caused yet another ruckus in Parliament after uttering a vulgarity to another lawmaker.

After being teased for allegedly visiting a casino and being told to sit down, Bung, in a fit of rage, screamed “f*** you” at Puncak Borneo MP Willie Mongin, while debating the government's motion to repeal the Goods and Services (GST).

“What is this?! Rude! This is imbecilic! Retract it! This is rude, Speaker.

“Very imbecilic. He does not deserve to sit here. Thug! What you want? You want to fight me?

“F*** you!” Bung screamed when several lawmakers told him to sit down.

“You are always drunk at night! You are always drunk at night!,” Bung continued to scream towards Willie, despite deputy speaker Datuk Rashid Hasnon calling for calm and trying to remedy the situation.

“You play with prostitutes! I saw you playing with prostitutes! I saw you bringing prostitutes!” an angry Bung continued to scream.

Bung had earlier interjected Rembau MP Khairy Jamaluddin’s debate on the government’s motion to repeal the Goods and Services Tax (GST), to pose as question. He told the Dewan Rakyat that during his visit to the Selayang Wholesale Market, prices of things were lower when GST was in place.

Willie then mischievously jibed; “Not to a casino?”

This angered Bung, who then lashed out the first-term MP.

Beluran MP Datuk Seri Ronald Kiandee then stood to remind Rashid of Parliamentary Standing Order 36 (9), which prohibits MPs from mentioning the character of another, adding that Willie had therefore, crossed the line.

The altercation threw the Dewan Rakyat into chaos, but Rashid then announced that the matter will be deliberated after lunch time.

Bung later apologised and retracted his remark, after the meeting convened.

However, he insisted that Willie had interacted with sex workers.

“Speaker, I have no intention, and I from the beginning, did not refer to anyone, and I wish to retract that word.

“I want to retract that word, because it is not decent. However, the statement by Puncak Borneo is not good. I too have seen him drinking with prostitutes,” Bung said.

This threw the Dewan Rakyat into a second bout of chaos, with PH lawmakers demanding that stern action be taken against Bung.

Bung then demanded that Willie too retract his statement, before he did the same.

Rashid then warned Bung again, and threatened to remove him from the Dewan Rakyat, if he repeated the remark.

After much fuss over Bung, order was restored to the Dewan Rakyat, and Khairy continued his debate.
