PUTRAJAYA, May 21 — Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad has left the Perdana Leadership Foundation, as he makes his way to Istana Negara for the swearing in ceremony of his Cabinet ministers.
Escorted by four traffic police motorcycle outriders and a pair of Special Action Force (UTK) personnel, Dr Mahathir’s entourage was seen leaving the premises of the foundation centre at around 5pm.
Earlier, the prime minister was visited by former Petrosaudi executive Andre Xavier Justo, and United States Ambassador to Malaysia Kamala Shirin Lakhdhir.
The PPBM chairman is expected to arrive at the palace to attend the swearing in of 14 ministers slated to take place at 5.30pm, including PKR president Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail as the deputy prime minister.
