KUALA LUMPUR, April 11 — Even before the Sarawak State Assembly was dissolved today, Chief Minister Tan Sri Adenan Satem has already named two-thirds of the Barisan Nasional candidates for the 82 seats to be contested in the 11th state election.

Gerald Rentap and Allan Siden, aged 42 and 30, are contesting in the constituencies that their fathers, Deputy Chief Minister Tan Sri Alfred Jabu and Gramong Juna, held for nine terms.

Douglas Uggah, the federal Plantation Industries and Commodities Minister, is tipped to be Deputy Chief Minister if he wins the Bukit Saban seat. — Bernama
