KUALA LUMPUR, April 2 — Police detained five people, including a woman, for investigation in connection with a robbery at a money changer outlet at Aeon Taman Maluri Cheras last March 9.

Kuala Lumpur Criminal Investigation Department head SAC Zainuddin Ahmad said one of the suspects was arrested at 5 pm on Tuesday in Sungai Buloh, while the others were arrested between 3 pm and 6 pm yesterday in Gombak.

The suspects, including a married couple, were between 24 and 27-years-old, he said in a statement here yesterday.

He said the four male suspects were car re-possessors and two of them had previous records, including for armed robbery.

Police are looking for two other suspects to assist in the investigation, he added.

In the incident on March 9, a 30-year-old man was shot dead by a security guard during a robbery at a money changer outlet at the Aeon Taman Maluri Cheras. — Bernama
