KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 13 — PKR’s Rafizi Ramli today confirmed that he has been appointed as the party’s new secretary-general replacing Datuk Saifuddin Nasution Ismail.
Star Online reported earlier that the appointment will consolidate the party after deputy president Azmin Ali became Selangor mentri besar.
“Yes it’s true but we will issue full list of appointments” Rafizi told Malay Mail Online via text message.
He also confirmed that Saifuddin and vice president Nurul Izzah Anwar have been appointed as PKR election co-directors.
PKR president Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail confirmed the appointments and provided a full list of the new appointees.
Xavier Jeyakumar and Darell Leiking have now been appointed party vice-presidents, while Datin Paduka Tan Yew Kew is now PKR treasurer.
Sim Tze Tzin will take over Rafizi’s previous post as strategic director while Fahmi Fadzil will remain communications director.
