KEPALA BATAS, Sept 8 — A housewife was terrified when a gunman riddled her house with bullets in Taman Seri Bertam here early today.
At the time of the incident about 3am, her husband who operates a chicken farm was away at a temple in Tikam Batu, Kedah while the couple’s four children were in the house.
The gunman left the scene in a car.
A police team found eight bullet holes along the perimeter fence and front wall of the house.
Seberang Perai Utara police chief ACP Abdul Rahman Ibrahim said police were in the midst of determining the motive behind the shooting.
He said a neighbour who was awakened by the gunfire saw a car pulling away from the front of the bullet-riddled house. — Bernama
