KUALA LUMPUR, April 8 ― Moderate air quality was recorded in eight areas throughout the country as of 7am today, according to the Department of Environment (DoE).
The DoE portal reported that Nilai recorded moderate Air Pollutant Index (API) reading of 57, Balok Baru (64), Kangar (51), Banting (54), Port Klang (52), Kemaman (57), Paka (83), and the Federal Territories (53).
API readings in other areas throughout the country are good, it added.
An API reading of between zero and 50 indicates good air quality, moderate (between 51 and 100), unhealthy (between 101 and 200), very unhealthy (between 201 and 300), and hazardous (over 301).
