KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 31 — The traffic on the North-South Highway has returned to normal tonight.
A Projek Lebuhraya Utara-Selatan (PLUS) spokesman contacted by Bernama said traffic was flowing smoothly from North Ipoh to the Menora Tunnel and also in both directions on the Penang Bridge to Seberang Perai.
However, there was a slight congestion from Slim River to Bidor and from Tapah towards Gopeng.
Meanwhile, the Nilai to Seremban highway and the Sultan Iskandar Building to Woodland, Singapore stretch was reported to be smooth as people have returned to their hometowns for the Chinese New Year holidays.
A Lembaga Lebuhraya Malaysia (LLM) spokesman said that traffic was looking good from the Gombak Toll Plaza to Genting Sempah but busy between Kuala Lumpur to Karak Highway and around the Bentong Toll Plaza.
