KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 13 — A RapidKL bus driver and three passengers were injured when the bus ploughed into a shop selling water pumps and machinery equipment in Jalan Pudu here this evening.
Prasarana Negara Berhad’s Communication and Strategic Marketing group executive vice president Lim Jin Aun said the bus driver identified as Suprianto Sirat, 48, sustained injuries to his legs and was sent to Kuala Lumpur Hospital for treatment.
A male and two female passengers aged between 40 and 50s sustained minor injuries,” he told Bernama tonight.
He said Suprianto who had been a bus driver for 16 years did not have any accident record.
In the incident at around 7pm, the bus was on the Bukit Bintang route towards Taman Dagang, Ampang.
“We will cooperate with the police to ascertain the cause of the accident,” Lim said. — Bernama
