KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 11 — Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak hopes that his working visit to Tokyo, Japan will further boost the cordial relations between the two countries.
He will depart for Tokyo tonight and will be there until Sunday to attend the summit marking the 40th anniversary of Asean-Japan dialogue relations.
“This dialogue has significant meaning especially in memory of the strengthening of bilateral relations with Japan. It is my fervent wish that the visit this time can further forge cordial relations between both countries,” he said in his latest entry in his Facebook website today.
Najib (picture) will be accompanied by his wife, Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor, several Cabinet ministers, officials of the relevant ministries and government agencies.
The summit on Saturday is being held to commemorate the dialogue relations between Asean and Japan which had been established 40 years ago. — Bernama
