KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 29 — Two shots were fired at the Toyota Harrier vehicle belonging to a former computer products trader in Mutiara Subang near here early today, police said.

Sungai Buloh OCPD Supt Junaidi Bujang said the shots were believed to have been a warning issued to the 58-year-old man who declined to be identified.

The man had realised that the vehicle had been shot, on the bonnet and the steering wheel, when he was driving out of the house at about 8am, he said. The car had been parked in the garage of the house.

Junaidi said the man claimed not to have heard any sound of shots having been fired but informed that his son had heard two explosions at about 1.30am but only looked around the inside of the house.

He also said that a 19-year-old neighbour who was playing computer games claimed to have heard two loud bangs at about the same time but saw nothing in the dark when he looked out through the window. — Bernama
