PASIR PUTEH, Nov 24 — A “kuih” hawker was stabbed several times with a sharp object believed by his friend in a quarrel at Kampung Nara here yesterday.
Pasir Puteh police chief DSP Mohd Kamal Zainal said Mohd Azizi Abdul Razak, 48, died on the way to the Tengku Anis Hospital here.
“The victim was stabbed repeatedly on the body and leg in a quarrel at about 6pm,” he told reporters here today.
Initially the victim was stabbed on his left ribs when arguing with the suspect in a car after he refused to get out of the vehicle.
Upon coming out of the car, a struggle ensued in which Mohd Azizi was repeatedly stabbed.
Mohd Kamal said police have identified the 38-year-old suspect and were tracking him down. — Bernama
