KUANTAN, Nov 22 — Pahang Health Director Dr Norhizan Ismail has confirmed that the leader of the Tuhan Harun deviant sect, Harun Mat Saad, is currently undergoing treatment at the Tengku Ampuan Afzan Hospital (HTAA) after being admitted yesterday.
“Right now, he is receiving treatment and being put under the observation of a specialist...I cannot confirm what the treatment is for,” he told reporters after Sultan of Pahang Sultan Ahmad Shah’s visit to the family of Pahang Islamic Religious Department chief enforcement officer Ahmad Raffli Ab Malik, who was shot dead on November 10, here today.
Harun, 47, was reported to have been admitted to the hospital at 2.30pm yesterday after showing symptoms of a stroke while being under remand at the Kuantan police headquarters lock-up.
Kuantan police deputy chief Supt Abdul Aziz Ahmad said Harun was remanded to facilitate the investigation into the murder of Ahmad Raffli, 49, who was shot dead by one of the three suspects who came to his house at Indera Mahkota 2, here on November 10. — Bernama
