KEMAMAN, Nov 18 — The body of an 11-year-old boy who went missing in the Sungai Pinang water treatment plant two days ago was found today.
Kemaman OCPD Che Suza Che Hitam said members of a search-and-rescue team found the body of Mohd Shafie Mohd Amin at about 9am near where he had reportedly gone missing.
The body was sent to the Kemaman Hospital, he told Bernama.
Che Suza said Mohd Shafie was reported to have been fishing with a 21-year-old friend at about 3.30pm on Saturday when the fibreglass boat they were in capsized and both of them fell into the water.
The friend swam to shore but Mohd Shafie went missing, he said. — Bernama
