KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 22 — The body of a girl believed to be 15-year-old Ng Yuk Tim was found today stuffed in a green suitcase in Shah Alam, following a date with a man to make a Cosplay uniform.
The discovery of the body followed the arrest of a 23-year-old man.
According to Sin Chew Daily, Ng was believed to have met the man at his home in Petaling Jaya to put together a Cosplay uniform.
The Chinese-language daily reported on its website that the man was believed to have made sexual advances at her, and she was struck and killed after she resisted.
Ng had left her Bandar Tun Razak home around 11am yesterday and travelled by LRT to Kelana Jaya to meet the man.
She was last seen by one of her friends at the Kelana Jaya LRT station in Petaling Jaya at around 3pm yesterday.
The 23-year-old man had been brought to the Petaling Jaya police district headquarters this evening for questioning.
It is understood that the man had led police to the discovery of the body.
The body, stuffed into a green suitcase, was found in Shah Alam.
Police have not confirmed the identity of the body.
