KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 11 — Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak today extended his condolences to families of the victims who perished in the MASWINGS Twin Otter crash in Kudat, Sabah yesterday.
In his latest tweet, Najib also expressed his thanks to the parties involved in the rescue operation.
The incident at 2.50pm near the Kudat Airport claimed the lives of MASWings co pilot, March Joel Bansh, 22, and a passenger Tan Ah Chai, 69.
The aircraft with 16 people on board was on its way to Kudat from Kota Kinabalu. — Bernama
