KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 9 — A retail chain company chief executive officer and its director pleaded not guilty in the Sessions Court here today to a charge of cheating a sales manager of cash, totalling RM150,000.

Kopais Konsortium (M) Sdn Bhd CEO, Mohd Syawaludin Siran, 37, and director, Rosinah Ahad, 25, are jointly charged with cheating Noorzita Baharudin, 47, a sales manager at Medicoptic Supplies Sdn Bhd, by deceiving her into believing that they could sell her the business premises of the 24-hour Station Rakyat convenience store at Plaza Usahawan Crystal Ville, Taman Danau Kota, Setapak.
