NILAI, Aug 23 — Four armed men broke into the home of Felda chairman Tan Sri Isa Samad in Nilai Springs near here early this morning and made off with personal items worth several thousand ringgit.

The Star Online reported today that the men, who were armed with machetes, entered the house after tying up an auxiliary policeman on duty at about 3.30am.

Isa’s two daughters, a son-in-law, grandchild and niece were at home when the incident happened. They were not harmed, according to the report.

Isa, a former Negri Sembilan mentri besar, and his wife were not at home at the time of the robbery.
