KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 4 — The thunderstorms and heavy rain occurring in Johor and Sabah are expected to persist until late this evening.
The Malaysian Meteorological Department, through its website, reported that the affected areas in Johor were in the district of Kota Tinggi, while in Sabah the areas affected were in Sandakan (Sandakan district), Tawau (Lahad Datu district), Kudat (Kudat and Pitas districts) and Sandakan (Beluran and Kinabatangan districts).
