ALOR SETAR, July 7 — An Indonesian maid was charged at the Magistrates Court here today, with murdering her elderly employer in June.
Dedek Lena, 38, from Batam, Indonesia allegedly killed Che Siah Wan Nik, 75, at a house in Taman Serindik, Jalan Langgar about 11.25 am on June 24.
Wearing a purple lock up uniform, the unrepresented accused merely nodded her head when the charge was read out before Magistrate Umzarul An Nur Umar but no plea was recorded.
The magistrate set October 6 for remention. Deputy public prosecutor Aisyaf Falina Abdullah appeared for the prosecution. — Bernama
