KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 10 — Asia Pacific Schools’ annual Karnival Kita 2025 achieved record-breaking success by generating RM121,109 in a single day through more than 11,000 digital transactions.

The one-day event, held on Oct 4 at the Petaling Jaya campus, surpassed last year’s collection of RM92,056 while drawing the largest crowd in the carnival’s history.

The school community’s shift to a fully digital payment system marked a first for the annual event, transforming the experience for students, parents, and teachers alike.

Powered by Nimble, a cloud-based customer loyalty platform by PaidChain, every transaction at the carnival was conducted seamlessly through QR-based payments.

Campus principal Paul Rogers said the carnival proved that education can extend beyond the classroom through collaboration and creativity.

“Our goal was to create a space where learning, joy, and community could coexist,” Rogers said.

Organised by the Community Support Committee, the event featured over 70 booths offering food, games, and creative experiences run by parents, students, and community partners.

Funds raised will support Arus Academy and Street Child United, organisations focused on improving education and opportunities for underprivileged children.

Programme director Amin Ashaari said the event’s success reflected a “shared triumph of technology, trust, and teamwork” as the school community embraced going fully digital.
