KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 9 — Alliance Bank Malaysia Berhad called on Malaysian small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to embrace innovation and reimagine their business boundaries at the second edition of its BizSmart Business Conference 2025 on Monday.

The one-day conference, themed “Boundaries Reimagined: Bridging Innovation with Vision,” brought together over 700 entrepreneurs, business leaders, and innovators at the W Hotel Kuala Lumpur to address key challenges like digital disruption, funding access, and talent shortages.

More than 25 industry leaders from sectors including retail, technology, and professional services shared insights on achieving sustainable growth in a rapidly changing economy.

Highlights included women-focused panels and discussions on artificial intelligence and digital transformation, with speakers from prominent companies such as Mindhive, HiiVolt, and AppWorks.

In his remarks, Alliance Bank Group Chief Executive Officer Kellee Kam said the conference underscored the bank’s commitment to empowering business owners through action.

“At Alliance Bank, our focus is not just on being noticed in the marketplace, but on building lasting relationships with entrepreneurs and business owners,” he said.

The bank said the conference builds on its long-running BizSmart Challenge initiative and reflects its goal of being a partner at every stage of an entrepreneur’s journey.
