KUALA LUMPUR, March 21 — The heart of Jalan Bukit Bintang was recently turned into a glamorous 500 metre fashion runway by e-commerce company Lazada.

With its theme Koleksi Raya LazLook. the showcase featured festive collections from over 10 renowned homegrown fashion brands.

Over 50 models strutted down the high street before making their final stop at the CommonsKL @ BBPark, presenting ensembles from brands such as Naelofar, Rico Rinaldi, Petit Moi, Zoe Arissa and Bayu Somerset.

Turning heads at the city's busiest crosswalk with an array of designer baju kurung and kebaya, the event was livestreamed across social media channels.

Pedestrians along Jalan Bukit Bintang were also able to catch the livestream on various LED screens along the road.

According to Lazada Malaysia chief executive officer Alan Chan, the one-of-a-kind fashion walk brought splendour to Bukit Bintang, while engaging consumers in an unexpected way.

Fesyen Raya LazLook was sponsored by Kevin Murphy, Maybelline and CommonsKL@BBPark while the livestream also featured a performance by singer Naim Daniel.

Among the runway models was MY FM radio announcer Emely Poon, who has just been announced by Kevin Murphy Malaysia as their first brand spokesperson.

“We are honoured to be the official hair sponsor for such a large-scale fashion show,” said Kevin Murphy Malaysia managing director Roy Kow.

Kow added that the brand’s flagship salon Beauty by the Beast elevated the runway looks.
