KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 23 — A kind-hearted Shell station cashier was pleasantly surprised when given RM50 for being nice to a customer.
Tasha, who looked to be in her early 20s, was willing to help a customer pay for a bottle of 100 plus when the man who brought it to the counter told her he had forgotten his wallet.
“It’s ok, my treat,” she told him as she was seen proceeding with the transaction in a TikTok video that’s going viral.
When the man tried to stop her by saying, “Wait, I have the money,” Tasha replied, “It’s ok, I got it.”
The man, Pinn Yang of food blog KL Foodie, then took out a RM50 note. He told a confused Tasha that he actually has money and it’s a social experiment.

“This is for you,” said Pinn as he placed the RM50 note in front of her. “For being willing to help me.”
Bursting into laughter, Tasha said, “Really? I was going to treat you.”
“Yes, yes,” said Pinn. “Use the RM50 to pay for the drink.”
They both continued to thank each other as Tasha declared the outcome as “unexpected”.
So far, the 44-second clip has garnered over 77,000 likes.
