KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 13 — An independent bookstore in Swindon, UK has raised a few eyebrows with its cheeky display of Prince Harry’s newly-release memoir.

A viral photo of the display shows the Prince’s controversial Spare book sitting next to Bella Mackie's novel How To Kill Your Family.

Harry’s memoir, which highlights several allegations against the UK Royal Family, went on sale across the kingdom on Tuesday, with some queuing overnight to get their hands on a copy.

The small independent bookstore, Bert's Books, was one of the places which offered the fans a chance to purchase the book with its tongue-in-cheek tweet that quickly went viral.

“Anyway, we do have some spare copies of Spare if you want one,” reads the tweet accompanied by a photo of its window display which shows copies of Spare next to Mackie’s novel.

The tweet has since been viewed 3.3 million times and many people praised the creativity of the bookstore with the display arrangement.

“Brilliant window,” retweeted novelist Kate Mosse.

“Based on the window display, I want to support your shop. Do you ship to Canada? This is just brilliant,” wrote another Twitter user.

The bookstore manager Alex Call was quoted by Dorset Live saying that the move was just a light-hearted joke with the first customers of the day.

“To be fair Bella Mackie's book was already in our window.

“It was the best-selling book in our shop and we thought it would make everyone laugh and it has.”

Harry’s book Spare has garnered attention worldwide with its disclosures about his personal struggles and accusations about other royals, including his father King Charles, stepmother Camilla and elder brother Prince William.

Members of the royal family have yet to comment on the book or the interviews.
