STOCKHOLM, June 16 — Fashion house Acne Studios and online luxury fashion retailer mytheresa.com have announced an exclusive collaboration on the Musubi handbag, one of the Scandinavian brand’s iconic accessories.
Two bags, available in several colours, will be available online from June 15.
Acne Studios, which shows its seasonal women’s ready-to-wear collections on the Paris runway, has teamed up with the website mytheresa.com for a collab based on its Musubi bag, instantly recognizable thanks to its unique bow which echoes traditional Japanese obi belts.
The collab features five handbags, with a classic model available in black, cognac and silver, and a slightly larger “shopper” model available in black or cognac.
Launched back in September, Musubi is a collection of lambskin handbags finished with a bow evoking the sash-style belts traditionally worn with kimonos, as well as Japanese paper-folding techniques.
The Acne Studios x mytheresa.com collection goes on sale June 15, exclusively on: www.mytheresa.com.
Prices range from €800 to €1,300 (RM3,814.80 to RM6,199.05) depending on the model. — AFP-Relaxnews
