SINGAPORE Nov 5 — Here is a list of activities in store for visitors at the Singapore River Festival:

Crossings by Underclouds Cie

Now this is seriously cool — a pair of tightrope artists walking above the Singapore River under the stars? Yes, please. It is the first time a feat like that has been attempted. And you shouldn’t miss it.

Nov 4 and 5, 8pm and 9.30pm, Read Bridge, Clarke Quay.

Circular spectacular

Lots to look forward to at this event, from kid-friendly stuff such as face-painting and chalkboard art to chilling out to cool tunes. Drop by The Barter Market to have a fun time haggling and trading goods and services.

Nov 5, 3pm to 10pm, Circular Road, Boat Quay.

Silent disco

Watch as the Clarke Quay fountain gets transformed into a dance floor. Put on your headphones and get this party with a difference started.

Nov 4 and 5, 8.30pm to 12.30am, Clarke Quay Fountain Square.

Nov 5, 6pm to 10pm, Clarke Quay Central.

Quayside cinema

Singapore’s much acclaimed 7 Letters gets an extra poignant screening here by the quay. It is the perfect way to spend the evening with a heartfelt love letter to this country we call home.

Nov 5, 8.30pm to 10.30pm, Robertson Quay Quayside.

Kids yoga by the river

Let the kids stretch out and get some fresh air. The class will see the instructor leading in the yoga poses and breathing methods while getting children to focus their minds and have fun.

Nov 5, 4pm, 60 Robertson Quay (open area beside Oyster Bar and Grill Wharf). Registration at http://urbanremedyriverkidsyoga.peatix.com/ is required. — TODAY
