PARIS, April 1 — Launched in 1978, Cacharel’s iconic perfume has been updated for a new generation of women. Anaïs Anaïs Premier Délice, a fresher, sweeter and more modern take on the original fragrance, will be available from April 1.

With this new variation, the French brand hopes to appeal to women whose mothers wore the original Anaïs Anaïs perfume during the late 1970s and early 1980s.

To create the campaign for the new fragrance, the brand called upon the up-and-coming American photographer and director Olivia Bee, who staged romantic and natural scenes featuring seven young women aged 16 to 23.

The original green woody floral fragrance has been transformed into a sweet, fruity floriental for the Premier Délice edition. Created by Dora Baghriche and Olivier Cresp, the scent includes notes of green pear, bergamot and orange essences, white peony and jasmine absolute, enriched with a freesia and dark chocolate accord.
